Today is a very special day for us, for today would have been Gints’ birthday. Even though he is no longer with us, his memory lives on every day—in our hearts, in our thoughts, and in everything we build and carry forward through the Gints Freimanis Academy. Born out of a deep friendship, we brought his vision to life: to nurture young football talents not only athletically but also as human beings. So much of what we do today embodies his values, his energy, and his spirit. We wish you all the best up there, Gints; you are with us every day. We will continue to look after your family and carry forward what binds us together; you are forever a part of us.
