Dropping in on someone isn’t cool. We all know surf etiquette matters, and yeah, it gets super frustrating, especially when coaches push beginners right into your line without looking.
Safety first, always. But at the end of the day, people make mistakes, lineups get crowded, and getting furious over a stolen wave just ruins your own session.
If someone drops in, turn it into a party wave, laugh it off, and use it as a moment to gently let them (or their coach) know for next time.
The ocean is supposed to be fun, no point carrying negative energy back to the beach over a wave that’s already gone. 🤙🏼

Had the privilege of hosting and surfing with the legend Yassin, known as Snoopy Style for a couple of days here in Bouznika La Crique Surf House
One of the most down-to-earth people you could meet. Humble, friendly, and a really good surfer. We spent time hearing his story, where he comes from, what he’s up to now, and I loved every minute of it.
We see surfing the same way: get your kids in the water. It shapes them in the best ways. Surfing changed him, it changed me, and I’ve watched it do the same for so many people.
So this one’s an easy call. Snoopy is joining the team as a Rip Curl Maroc brand ambassador, sharing his knowledge, his teaching, his philosophy, and helping us surf better and become better people along the way.
