Flymorocco - paragliding in Morocco, Marrakesh (2026)

Dear Pilots,

Following yesterday's meeting at the CAA offices, we're delighted to share some good news regarding paragliding in Morocco. The CAA has decided that obtaining the new required authorizations to fly should be done through a Moroccan club. We invite you to submit the following documents to one of our 3 club addresses:

- Passport photo (main page)
- Pilot's license
- Valid insurance
- Equipment specifications and model

We, the representatives of the southern clubs, will submit these document copies to the CAA in Rabat. We plan to submit the first received applications on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. If you wish to fly in southern Morocco between January and March 2024, please send us the documents before January 1 (those received after this date can still be added later). From the day of document submission, the CAA should be able to provide a positive response within a few days. We'll keep you updated!

This situation is new to us all, so we're uncertain about the exact process, but it's great news. We thank everyone involved and look forward to seeing you fly again over the stunning sites in the south:

- Aglou caves and mountains
- Le Nid d’Aigle
- Legzira
- Sidi Ifni
- White beaches
We're not knowledgeable about other spots.

Enjoying a great afternoon session by the beach. Fantastic way to work on those basic skills with to gain confidence and be safer around takeoffs and landings.
