They say Morocco is overrated.
Maybe — if you do it rushed and wrong.
Cramming everything into a few days doesn’t work here. Distances are long, and spending 3 days in a car on a group tour to Merzouga just to sleep one night in a tent isn’t the experience.
The right way? See less. Stay longer.
For Southern Morocco, give it at least 7 days — and yes, 2 nights in a desert camp are a must.
Skip the tourist traps. Go off-grid.
