In this dramatic face-off, two of nature's greatest hunters stand in a silent challenge, exchanging looks of confidence and majesty. On one side stands the Saluki, the legendary hunting dog renowned for its supreme endurance, sharp intelligence, and unwavering focus. On the other side stands the cheetah, the king of short sprints and the fastest land animal on Earth.
The cheetah can reach astonishing speeds ranging between 100 and 120 kilometers per hour, making it the fastest sprinter in the animal kingdom. However, this exceptional speed cannot be maintained except for short distances before exhaustion begins to take its toll.
The Saluki, on the other hand, despite having a lower top speed ranging between 60 and 70 kilometers per hour, possesses an extraordinary capacity for endurance and maintaining its pace over long distances. For centuries, the Saluki has been bred to pursue prey across vast deserts, relying on a unique blend of speed, patience, and stamina.
In a short race, the cheetah dominates unchallenged, thanks to its immense speed and explosive start. But in long pursuits, the Saluki's stamina and endurance give it a major advantage, allowing it to keep running long after the cheetah is forced to slow down and recover its energy.
For this reason, the Saluki is considered one of the most respected hunting dogs in the world, while the cheetah remains the ultimate symbol of sheer speed and explosive power."

Morocco stands out as one of the premier destinations in North Africa and the Mediterranean for hunting enthusiasts, seamlessly blending diverse landscapes with deeply rooted traditions. From the rugged Atlas Mountains to vast plains and dense forests, the country offers an ideal habitat for a wide variety of game.
What makes hunting in Morocco truly unique is its rich diversity. Hunters can pursue wild boars, Barbary partridges, hares, and various migratory waterfowl. Moreover, Morocco is world-renowned for preserving "Sloughi Hunting"—a traditional, eco-friendly form of hunting that relies on the legendary Moroccan Sloughi (sighthound). Celebrated for its incredible speed, agility, and intelligence, the Sloughi chases game in its purest, most natural form without the use of fi****ms.
Hunting seasons in Morocco are strictly regulated and managed to ensure wildlife conservation and ecological balance. This makes it a sustainable, thrilling, and premium tourism experience, allowing international visitors to combine their passion for hunting with exploring Morocco’s world-famous hospitality and rich cultural heritage.
