Paul Meilhat and Mariana Lobato launch boat for new ‘United by the Ocean’ campaign 💥💦

French skipper Paul Meilhat and Portuguese co-skipper Mariana Lobato have launched the IMOCA boat they will race in The Ocean Race Atlantic (2026) and The Ocean Race around the world (2027).

Le skipper français Paul Meilhat et la co-skipper portugaise Mariana Lobato ont mis à l’eau l’IMOCA à bord duquel ils participeront à The Ocean Race Atlantic (septembre 2026) puis à The Ocean Race, le tour du monde en équipage (janvier 2027).

5e participation au Trophée Mer Montagne pour Paul 🏔️🎿

Un événement qui tient particulièrement au skipper, qui faisait cette année équipe avec Martin Kern, ultra-trailer hors norme — vainqueur notamment des 90 km du Mont-Blanc et 4e de la Diagonale des Fous.

Après 4 jours de compétition et 7 épreuves :
🏁 prologue
⛷️ slalom géant, biathlon
🧭 transtation (course d'orientation)
🥵 skyrace (montée sèche)
🎒 ski-alpinisme
🧗🏻 escalade
🥈 Le duo termine 2e au classement général 🔥

Le bilan ? ✨ Un enchaînement de haut niveau qui permet de sortir de sa zone de confort, un slalom géant « un peu en dessous de mes standards » dixit Paul, mais une immense satisfaction, avec une 3e place en ski-alpinisme, l’épreuve reine du trophée ! Et une superbe collaboration avec Martin, qui aura poussé le navigateur au bout de ses retranchements, jusqu’au sommet du Pic Blanc, à 3 300 m d’altitude.

Mais aussi - et surtout - des retrouvailles et des histoires incroyables, des rencontres inspirantes avec les nouveaux venus et de riches moments de partage avec le public lors du Festival du film Mer & Montagne chaque soir.
