The Porto Montenegro Yacht Club is a great place to relax and unwind after a day on the water. It offers movie nights, international TV and a welcoming bar and lounge. Porto Montenegro Match Race, World Match Racing Tour, Day 3 is complete. It was another fantastic day's racing with an early start of the onshore breeze, allow racing to begin at 10.30. Mati Sepp chose Matin Allix as his opponent in the Semi-Finals and lost 2 straight matches, as did the RR 2nd placed skipper, Vladimir Lipavskiy against Christian Hamilton. This left these top 2 skippers to fight for 3rd and 4th places in the Petit Final. It was 1 match each with all to race for in the 3rd match. These matches were hard won with contact between the boats several times. Vladimir Lipavskiy of Israel with Freedom 24 Sailing Team won the 3rd match and therefore 3rd place after a fierce battle with Mati Sepp of Estonia, Eesti Match Race Team taking 4th place.
The Finals were also very close matches. Christian Hamilton of Great Briton with Team Magnum won 3 straight matches against Martin Allix of France with his team Sail in Blue.
The Kind of the Castle only changed one position for 8th and 9th places leaving Bojan Rajar (SLO) Team Eureka in 9th, Kristina Mauritzen (DEN) Thise Seagulls in 8th, Ruairi Finnegan (IRE) Craic'n'Racing in 7th, Jon Eriksson (FIN) Eriksson Racing in 6th and Tom Picot (FRA) Match2Race in 5th.
Congratulations to all the teams. Thank you for coming from all over the world to sail with us at the Porto Montenegro Yacht Club. We loved watching such a high level of competition. Wishing you all a great season!

Porto Montenegro Match Race, Day 2, world World Match Racing Tour provided exciting racing and a real spectacle for all with 15-18 knots of West wind for most of the day. 9 flights/27 matches raced. After completion of round robin 1 and 5 flights of round robin 2, combined results show Mati Sepp stayed on top with 94% wins, Valdimir Lipavskiy is in 2nd place with 81% wins, Christian Hamilton in 3rd place and Martin Allix in 4th.
Lighter winds expected for the day 3 with expected decision to go straight to semi-finals and finals. The last 5 teams will race in a King of the Castle.

Day 1 of the Porto Montenegro Match Race, World Match Racing Tour results have Mati Sepp with the clear lead. Exciting racing in approximately 12 knots of SW wind. 8 Flights/24 matches completed when the wind died. AP over A displayed at 4pm to close the racing for the day.

Day 3 of the Montenegro Spring Cup brought sunshine and 10-12 knots of SW breeze. Lovely conditions for our final day of racing. 7 more races completed, making a total of 27 races for the event. Alandia Sailing Team, skippered by Marcus Ronnberg came away with their forth event win. In second place Henrik Lundberg with Team Elving. Ivan Gureev with his Bora Club Sailing Team took third. The level of racing for this event was superb and a pleasure to watch over the 3 days, and marks the start of the season here in Montenegro. Thank you to all the teams for a fantastic event!!

Day 2 of the Montenegro Spring Cup started on time with a nice South wind, increasing to 20 Knots in the middle in the day. 17 races completed taking us to a total of 20 races over the 2 days. Team Alandia Sailing Team excelled yet again with near perfect results. Great racing today!!!

The Montenegro Spring Cup started today in rainy conditions with a light North wind in Tivat Bay. 7 races completed. Bora Sailing Club Racing Team and Alandia Sailing Team were leading at the close of racing for Day 1. We look forward to seeing the racing over the next 2 days.
