Happy New Year Twinners and Friends

To all of our counterparts, colleagues, stakeholders and friends. On behalf of our Twinning Team I wanted to record my thanks for the commitment shown to deliver the Twinning Project and to improve the environment in the beautiful country of Macedonia. My time here has given me some of the best experiences of my life. The countryside, the food, the wine and, more importantly, the people have given me a new perspective on life that I will never forget. My eternal thanks go out to Ana, Ivana, Natalija, Dragana, Lendita, Maja, Snezana, Biljana, Jadranka, Elena, Irena, Elena, our project management teams, all of our experts, our stakeholders in industry, commerce, education, MaSWA etc.
I have made many friends here and I will miss you all.
And finally to my friend Vik for his fishing support :-)

На 06.07.2018 год. во Крива Паланка се одржа работна средба со градоначалниците на два плански региона (Источен и Североситочен регион) на која се дискутираше воспоставувањето на меѓурегионалниот систем за управување со општинскиот отпад во овие два региона, со посебен акцент на институционалните аспекти во работењето на овој систем. Меѓу другото се договараа и основите (правни акти) за основање на зедничко меѓурегионално претпријатие кое ќе управува со регионалниот центар и пропратната инфраструктура.

On 06.07.2018 in Kriva Palanka a working meeting was held with the mayors of two planning regions (East and North-East region), where the establishment of the interregional municipal waste management system in these two regions was discussed, with special emphasis on the institutional aspects of the operation of this system. Among other things, the basis (legal acts) for the establishment of a joint interregional enterprise that will manage the regional center and infrastructure were discussed.

На 07.07.2018 година во Штип се одржа работна средба со градоначалникот, претсавници од општина Штип и граѓани на која се презентираше на меѓурегионалниот систем за управување со општинскиот отпад, со посебен акцент на институционалните аспекти во работењето на овој систем, формирањето на зедничко меѓурегионално претпријатие кое ќе управува со регионалниот центар и пропратната инфраструктура и целокупните придобивки од овој систем.

On 07.07.2018 in Stip a working meeting was held with the Mayor, representatives from the Municipality of Shtip and citizens, presenting on the international municipal waste management system, with special emphasis on the institutional aspects of the operation of this system, the establishment of a joint inter-regional enterprise which will manage the regional center and infrastructure as well as the overall benefits of this system

Study visit training and presentation. This training was focused on presenting the facilities for treatment of waste in North-West Spain and sharing the experience and knowledge from this country to strengthen the knowledge and experience of the local staff.
