The best karateka of all time in Macedonia, Dejan Nedev, will hold an international karate seminar from May 15 to 18, 2026 in two cities in Brazil, São Paulo and Campinas, at the invitation of the Brazilian National Confederation for Traditional Karate. This will be Nedev's fourth visit to Brazil — three times as a competitor and participant in the ITKF World Championship in Traditional Karate in 1996 in São Paulo, as well as in 2010 and 2019 in Curitiba, and now again in São Paulo, but in the role of chief instructor and lecturer, the participation of a large number of karatekas from several countries in South America is expected, including: Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Uruguay, Peru and Venezuela. These are countries where traditional karate is highly developed, thanks to the founder of the ITKF, Hidetaka Nishiyama sensei. This is a huge recognition for Dejan Nedev as a prominent world athlete and instructor, who continues to successfully spread the original traditional karate throughout the world.
