🔐 Strengthening digital safety for women athletes 🏐

From 5–8 March in Belgrade, the Safe Sport – Cybersecurity for Women Athletes Training Course brought together participants from Bulgaria, Estonia, North Macedonia, and Serbia.

During the training, participants explored practical tools and methods to address cyberbullying, online harassment, identity theft, and other digital risks affecting young women in sport. Trainers and sport educators strengthened their capacity to support athletes in protecting their personal data, recognizing online threats, and responding confidently to digital challenges.

The training is part of the SAFE SPORT – Cybersecurity for Women Athletes project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, which aims to equip athletes, coaches, and sport organizations with the knowledge and tools needed to build safer digital environments in sport.

🔐🏃‍♀️ Safe Sport Project Launched in Skopje

On 28–29 November 2025, the SAFE SPORT project – Cybersecurity for Women Athletes, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Sport Programme of the European Union, officially kicked off with its first international meeting in Skopje. Partners from North Macedonia, Serbia, Estonia and Bulgaria came together to launch joint work for a safer digital environment in sport.

🇧🇬 The meeting and the project start were covered by Bulgarian media, highlighting the importance of digital safety and inclusion for women athletes.
