Napoli wants Ā£25.5m for Arsenalās target Fabian Ruiz as William Saliba set for contract talks
Now the international break is over, transfer season is getting more exciting. And the transfer window is now officially open too.
The summer transfer window opened this morning and will run until the end of August. And there is expected to be plenty of movement at Arsenal, both in and out.
The Gunners, under Mikel Arteta, were the biggest spenders in the Premier League last season, splashing out more than Ā£150million on the likes of Aaron Ramsdale, Benjamin White, Martin Ćdegaard And Gabriel Magalhaes.
This summer is likely to be quite similar, with Arteta and Edu eager to bolster the playing ranks with a Europa League campaign to run alongside the domestic cup competitions.

Fabian Ruiz is one of a number of names to have already been linked with a move to north London. football.london understands that Arsenal are keen to bring in midfield reinforcements this summer, with Ruiz being on their radar.
But he will not come cheap. Napoli are arranged to do a deal if the price is right, and according to Italian journalist Matteo Moretto on Twitter the Naples outfit will demand around ā¬30million (Ā£25.5million) from any club looking to do a deal.
William Saliba contract
There has been much speculation over the future of William Saliba at Arsenal. The young defender has yet to play a first team game for the Gunners ever since the arrival, but has been touted for big things.
The Arsenal fan base are excited to see what he can do, particularly after Saliba was named young player of the year in Ligue Un with Marseille this season. Mikel Arteta has said the Frenchman has a bright future in north London and will merge him into the first team setup next season.
And L'Equipe have reported that more than that, Saliba is set to be offered a new contract with the Gunners. His current deal is not due to expire until 2024.

Santi Cazorla doesnāt āclose the doorā on European return as Arsenal coaching role beckons
Santi Cazorla is due to leave Al Sadd with his deal in Qatar expiring come to the end of June. He has played in the World Cup hostsā nation since leaving Villarreal in 2020.
The former Arsenal midfielder became, for many, one of the few Emirates-era legends at the club. Despite turning 37 in December, Cazorla continued to produce and will finish his deal with 27 goals and 26 assists in 57 matches.
Now though, with his deal ending and no news of a renewal, the Spaniard has said he has no intention to stop playing. Why would he, considering what he has continued to produce so far?
"My contract ends this month; I'm waiting to see if they tell me anything. Let's see what options come up. I'm still fine, I want to continue having fun and I want to see what the future holds, until my body says, 'enough is enough'. Currently, I still feel good," he told Cadena SER via Ojogo.
"I don't close doors returning to Spain, I'll see what the future has in store for me. Let's see what I have on the table. I don't rule out anything. I rule out absolutely nothing. I want to continue playing football and being important," he concluded.
