Yangon City FC, currently holding their preseason training camp in Hua Hin, Thailand, recorded a convincing 4–0 victory over local side Hua Hin City FC in their fifth pre-season friendly yesterday.

Yangon City FC started the match with a lineup featuring Yan Naing Oo, Zwel Htet Min, Aung Kaung Mann, Soe Ar Kar, alongside the club’s foreign players. During the first half, both Pedro and Aung Kaung Mann created dangerous scoring opportunities.

Karim opened the scoring for Yangon City FC from the penalty spot in the 11th minute before doubling the lead with his second goal in the 28th minute.

Seigo extended the advantage with the third goal in the 56th minute, and just three minutes later, Karim completed his hat-trick by scoring Yangon City FC’s fourth goal in the 59th minute.

Hua Hin City FC pushed forward in search of a consolation goal during the remaining minutes, but Yangon City FC’s solid defensive line and goalkeeper produced an excellent performance to preserve the clean sheet, sealing an emphatic 4–0 win.

Yangon City FC will play their next preseason friendly against Hong Kong club Kitchee SC on August 6.

Yangon City FC has relocated from Sriracha, Chonburi to Hua Hin today as part of its ongoing pre-season training camp in Thailand.

The team will stay in Hua Hin for six days, during which they are scheduled to play a number of pre-season friendly matches, including games against Hua Hin City FC and Hong Kong club Kitchee FC, who are also in Thailand for their pre-season preparations.

This evening, Yangon City FC held its first training session in Hua Hin as the team continues its preparations for the upcoming season.

For this match, Yangon City rested the foreign players and senior squad members who featured in the previous friendly against Rayong FC, giving several young players the opportunity to start. Nay Lin Thant had a clear scoring chance in the 6th minute but was unable to find the target. Burapha took the lead in the 9th minute before adding a second goal in the 24th minute. Yangon City created several promising opportunities during the first half but failed to convert them, trailing 2-0 at the break.

In the second half, Yangon City pushed forward in search of goals. Aung Kaung Mann came on as a substitute, while Yan Naing Oo, Zwel Htet Min, and Pedro were introduced in the 75th minute. Despite creating a number of chances, Yangon City could not beat the Burapha goalkeeper, who made several important saves. At the final whistle, Burapha FC claimed a 2-0 victory over Yangon City FC.

Yangon City FC Fall to Thai League 1 Side Rayong FC in Pre-Season Friendly

Yangon City FC, who are currently holding their pre-season training camp in Thailand, suffered a 3-0 defeat to Thai League 1 club Rayong FC in their third pre-season friendly on Wednesday evening. The match was played at Rayong FC’s home ground in Rayong Province.

Yangon City FC named four foreign players in the starting lineup alongside senior players Bhone Thit Sar Min (GK), Yan Naing Oo, Zwe Htet Min, and Aung Kaung Mann, as well as several young talents.

During the first half, Yangon City FC created three scoring opportunities but were denied by an impressive performance from the Rayong FC goalkeeper. Rayong took the lead in the 37th minute after capitalizing on a defensive error following an unsuccessful clearance by the Yangon City goalkeeper, giving the hosts a 1-0 advantage at halftime.

In the second half, Rayong FC introduced six foreign players, while Yangon City FC made only four substitutions. Yangon City continued to create chances and produced two more attempts on goal, but the Rayong goalkeeper’s excellent positioning prevented the visitors from finding the net. Rayong added further goals in the 54th and 76th minutes to seal a comfortable 3-0 victory.
