Utthita Trikonasana
'In this asana your body takes the shape of an extended triangle, giving an intense stretch to your trunk and legs. Utthita means 'extended' in Sanskrit, tri means 'three' and kona indicates an angle. With practice, you will learn to move from your physical body into your physiological body. You will learn to activate the organs, glands, and nerves - which form the physiological body - by controlling the movements of your limbs. This pose tones the ligaments and improves flexibility'

These 8 should be shunned by a student: sexual desires; anger (lust & agitation causes loss of control over self) ; greed (never allows you to be content) ; taste (makes you eat more than required) ; adornments (shifts the focus) ; indulgence into material joys (eats into your studies) ; too much sleep (makes you lethargic); and too much of servitude (loss of self reliance).

Being a student in strict traditional sense is extremely difficult but very important for success of any student including yogsadhana. Therefore we all must try to be the best version of ourselves and remain active students always...
