Born in Belgrade, Djordjević came through the ranks at Čukarički before gaining senior experience with clubs including Inđija and Železničar Pančevo. He has accumulated considerable experience in Serbian football, including appearances in the country’s top flight. 🇷🇸

🌍 His career later took him abroad to FK Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he also gained valuable European experience, featuring in UEFA Conference League qualifying matches. He was part of the Sarajevo squad that won the Bosnian Cup in 2024/25. 🏆

🇷🇸 Djordjević has also represented Serbia at Under-19 and Under-21 level, adding international experience to his CV.

The 28-year-old Dutch-born attacker arrives following his spell with Serbian side FK Spartak Subotica, adding valuable international experience to the Wanderers’ frontline.

🇳🇱 Robertha developed in the highly respected Feyenoord academy, where he progressed through the youth ranks before making his Eredivisie debut for the Rotterdam giants.

Standing around 1.85m tall, Robertha can operate as a centre-forward or across the attacking line, giving Sliema additional pace, physical presence and versatility in the final third. 💪⚡

He also represented the Netherlands at youth level, including the U17 and U18 teams, and was later included in Curaçao’s preliminary squad for the 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup. 🇳🇱🇨🇼

Valletta FC suffered a 3-1 defeat against Polish side Raków Częstochowa in their UEFA Conference League encounter, despite taking the lead and producing a determined performance. 🇵🇱⚔️🇲🇹

The Citizens made an excellent start and stunned the hosts in the 23rd minute, when Morello found the back of the net to put Valletta 1-0 ahead. 🔥🔴⚪

Valletta managed to take that advantage into half-time, but Raków responded strongly after the break.

🇵🇱 53’ – Emreli levelled the match at 1-1.
🇵🇱 78’ – Makuch completed the turnaround to give Raków a 2-1 advantage.
🇵🇱 90’ – Svarnas added a third late on to seal the 3-1 victory.

Despite the final score, Valletta can take positives from competing away from home against strong Polish opposition and showing they were capable of causing problems, particularly during the opening half. 💪🇲🇹

🎳🏆 PBA-STYLE MBA TOURNAMENT DELIVERS THRILLING ACTION ON THE CHAMELEON PATTERN! 🏆🎳

The inaugural PBA-style MBA Tournament proved to be a huge success, with bowlers taking on the demanding PBA Sport “Chameleon” oil pattern in one of the toughest competitions of the season. After an exciting day of high-quality bowling, Tomas Caruso and Alja Bergauer were crowned the first-ever champions! 🥇👏

🔥 Men’s Competition
Matthew Magro topped the six-game qualifying stage with an impressive 204 average, the only player to average above the 200 mark. He was followed by Tomas Caruso, Mark Spiteri, Mikhail Mallia, Kenneth Arpa, Samuel Caruso, Philip Gruppetta and Dennis Mercieca, who all secured their places in the knockout rounds.

The head-to-head Round Robin produced plenty of drama, with Tomas and Samuel Caruso both winning five of their seven matches to finish at the top of the standings. Mark Spiteri also enjoyed an excellent campaign, while Kenneth Arpa and Matthew Magro completed the top five.

The Step Ladder Finals were packed with excitement as Matthew defeated Kenneth Arpa 184-172 before overcoming Mark Spiteri 192-168. His run ended in the semi-final after a 200-164 defeat to Samuel Caruso, earning him a well-deserved third place.

The championship match belonged to Tomas Caruso, who opened with a stunning string of strikes and never looked back. A dominant 229-153 victory over his brother Samuel secured the historic first PBA-style MBA title. 🏆💪

🌸 Women’s Competition
Cynthia Frendo Duca led the qualifying round, finishing comfortably ahead of Tiziana Muscat Carannante, while Alja Bergauer qualified in third place before the match-play stage.

Round Robin action saw the leaderboard constantly changing, but Alja Bergauer’s five victories and superior pinfall lifted her into first place and straight into the championship match. Tiziana Muscat Carannante also collected five wins to finish second, while Kathryn Fenech produced one of the performances of the tournament by bouncing back from an opening defeat to win six of her remaining seven matches and climb into fourth.

Kathryn defeated Charlize Bartolo 155-147 before eliminating Cynthia Frendo Duca 201-190 to reach the next stage. Her impressive run ended against Tiziana, who claimed a 200-187 victory to book her place in the final.

The women’s title match saw Alja Bergauer deliver a sensational performance, defeating Tiziana 246-142 to become the inaugural women’s PBA-style MBA champion. 🥇🎉
