The Buġibba skatepark has always been a community led project - an open space for all to enjoy and practice a sport they love 🛹🚴🛴⚽🏀🛼
After 10 years our skatepark needs some more tlc.

Join us this Saturday for a JAM - maintenance + clean up day 🌞

We will be fixing, cleaning, painting and playing around while enjoying each others company and some good music 🤙

🕜 The event will start at 14:00, C0ok3r will be there creating a beautiful art piece whilst McGowan's Misty Blue is one of the local business supporting the skatepark ♥️

Free Language Cafe Today at 5pm!!

Today from 5pm to 8pm, Qawra Community Service will host Cafe des Langues: an immersive language experience for anyone interested in practicing their chosen language in a fun, relaxed, easy-going environment.

From total beginners to fluent speakers, all levels of ability are welcome and encouraged to join in as we chat, play games and music, and make new friends, improving our language skills along the way.

Whether you want to learn Maltese, improve your English, or practice Italian for example, (or you are simply curious how to say hello in Russian), Cafe des Langues will provide fluent speakers to guide you through the experience and ensure you have a good time along the way!

So come along, make news connections and have a blast at Cafe des Langues, Qawra Community Space, Triq il Frejgatina, Qawra.
Languages hosted for first event: Maltese, English, French, Russian, Italian, Spanish.

Adapt and socialize!

Free entry and soft drinks for participants.

The difference between one council and another.
Are the kids and youths in the north not important? Do we not also deserve to have clean and safe outdoor spaces to play, practice sport, and meet with other members of our community?

Years youths have been fighting to provide free- open spaces for all. Meeting only with hardship from those who are supposed to 'represent' us.

We cannot be more thankful to the Qawra Community Service and all those residents which helped to clean up the area in and around the skatepark - your work towards the youth of our locality will help foster more attention and care for our environment and local sport spots 🛹🛴🚲⚽🛼🏀

Let's please continue to keep the area clean, and call out any one who does any kind of vandalism.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all the young kids and youths which continue to clean up the skatepark and maintain it on a weekly basis. This is your space! 👊

We would urge the Kunsill Lokali San Pawl il-Baħar and Regjun Tramuntana to send street sweepers, and empty the bins, in order to keep the area tidy 🌿
