This class will start with a strong flow focusing on building heat and core strength, where we will then transition into arm balances and inversions. You will be guided through proper technique, alignment and modifications according to your level. Face your fears & discover your strength πŸ‘ŠπŸΌ

Wednesdays 630pm
πŸ”₯Hotyoga 60min

This is a set sequence designed to build up a sweat as we flow from one posture to the next increasing strength, flexibility & mental focus. The heated room provides a cardiovascular boost making it more challenging & allows the muscles to stretch further and achiever a greater range of motion πŸ’¦

Bound triangle pose πŸ§˜πŸ»β€β™€οΈor Baddha Trikonasana

This is a challenging posture that requires strong hamstrings and lower back muscles. Once you are comfortable in extended triangle you can try this pose as you extend your torso in order to bind the arms together. Keep rotating your heart towards the sky as you allow the chest and shoulders to open always focusing on the breath.

Before attempting this posture I spent a while practicing shifting the weight from one arm to another in normal crow increasing strength & balance πŸ€ΈπŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Shoulder opener πŸ§˜πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

I haven’t had much time to post lately but here’s a snippet of my practice this morning πŸ™πŸΌ

A shoulder opening pose which also consists of a deep twist. I have been doing some strength based training lately so have to constantly counteract the stiffness that it brings πŸ‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

Shoulder-opening yoga poses are important to reduce the tension that contributes to bad posture, neck pain and difficulty breathing especially from slouching at our desks all day and modern day culture.

Also super important for athletes practicing any type of strength training to increase their range of mobility and to prevent injury πŸ™πŸΌ
