Lots of happy babies & toddlers on the last course - looking forward to more swimming starting next week. Classes will be focusing on being on our backs - an essential safety skill & a lot of fun to practice.

We had a wonderful 5 weeks of water safety exercises & practice in the warm & cosy ARB pool.

The next course will have water safety exercises as always - & also focusing on water confidence, breath control & underwater swimming - all with fun & smiles & at the child's pace. Winter swimming is also fantastic exercise for babies & children.

There are 3 baby places available for the next course (6-12 months) starting either 24th or 25th February for 5 weeks. Class time is 2-2.30pm on either Tuesdays or Wednesdays.

Here are some confident happy smiles from the pool on the last course when we were focusing on being on our backs 💦

I teach babies from 6 months up to children aged 4 (non swimmers) & I'm excited to have 6 new babies starting their water journey with me in January.

I teach from the Gharb Council (ARB) indoor & heated pool - the changing area is warm & cosy. I teach in very small age groups rather than 'levels' so each child has individual attention & progresses at their own pace 💦

The January 5 week course is almost full (starts 13th/14th January) & we will be focusing on water safety 💦

Then one weeks break followed by another 5 week course. I offer a replacement class if you can't attend one class. Places come up on every course as older children no longer need me or if family circumstances change - so - if you'd like to join my waitist or have any questions just send me a message 💦

I have 2 last minute spaces in my baby classes for ages 6-12 months 🥳

One space on Tuesdays 2-2.30pm
One space Wednesdays 2-2.30pm

Starting next week on either 30th September or 1st Oct for 5 weeks.

I focus on water safety and water confidence (which leads to independent swimming). An adult is in the pool holding each baby as I only use swim aids occasionally and I encourage underwater swimming - all at the baby's (or child's) individual pace 💦

My classes are a calm and social bonding experience for parents and babies. They are structured, fun, educational & progressive. Being in water aids cognitive development and coordination with repetitive activites, songs and games. Swimming also strengthens muscles, heart and lungs which can help sleeping and eating patterns 💦

My class times on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at ARB pool (indoor heated) are :
2-2.30pm - 6-12 months
2.30-3pm - 1 & 2 year olds
3-3.30pm - 2 & 3 year olds
3.30-4pm - 3 & 4 year olds

I have a few baby & children spaces remaining for the October course so please message me...if I can't accommodate you then I'll add you to my waitlist for the November course 💦

I finally got my time slots confirmed in the new indoor Gharb Council pool - ARB - Tuesday & Wednesday afternoons.
The summer course there is now fully booked with swimmers from last year & my waitlist....

What an amazing 9 weeks of summer swimming! Such fun, laughter, smiles & high fives🤩
All the children made massive individual achievements & gained so much confidence. My main focus is water safety & showing children the joy of water in a safe environment - we certainly did that this summer - thank you everyone 💦

Yay it's nearly swimming time again 💦

For group lessons this summer I have a brand new infinity pool that's perfect for small groups of 3 in a class. We will be swimming on Tuesday & Thursday afternoons in July & August. Most places are already taken with last summers swimmers & friends but if you'd like to go on the waitlist please contact me - maybe I'll be able to add some classes....

For those with their own pool I have time slots (mostly afternoon) available for me to come to you....

For those that don't know me I'm originally from UK & have at least 20 years teaching experience & I was also a teacher trainer in UK. I focus on water safety & water confidence which leads to independent swimming. An adult also needs to be in the pool as I don't often use swim aids. I'm fully insured & used to be a first aid trainer. My classes are structured & fun & encompass so much more than just aquatics 💦
