Lifting heavy? Warm up first. 💪

A good warm-up gets you ready to move, helps you feel stronger, and prepares your body for the work ahead. 🔥

Sore doesn’t always mean better. 💪

You don’t need to be sore to make progress. Train smart, recover well, and focus on getting stronger over time. 🔥

A strong plank isn’t about holding it for as long as possible. It’s about holding the right position. Keep your body in a straight line, squeeze your core and avoid letting your hips drop!

Quality over time! 🔥

👊Your wrists play a bigger role in your training than you might think!

Keeping your wrist in a neutral position can help improve stability, control, and force during exercises. Small adjustments can make a big difference! 💪

💪💀 The deadlift is a full body movement with massive benefits for overall posterior chain strength.

🏆 To perform the deadlift correctly grab the weight with a firm neutral grip, brace your core and pull the bar while keeping the centre of gravity over the full foot.

❌ Avoid arching excessively and swaying back and forth!

💪The Pushup - one of the most basic exercises for training, also one of the most feared, misused and done wrong.

📈Build your pushup slowly, by starting with the easiest variation and building up the strength to do the full pushup.

Squats are a great way to build overall lower body strength but shifting your feet may cause hip or knee pain.

🔒Secure the squat by planting your feet on the ground, feeling the 'tripod' of the foot and bracing your core.

🏃 The Incline threadmill is a great way to burn calories and train your legs without putting excess stress on your knees.

❌ But hanging onto the handles for dear life removes most of the benefits and puts unnecessary stress on your shoulders.

🧘‍♂️People need to chill...especially during stretching.

Hold each stretch for 30-40 seconds, breathe through it and let the body guide you.

⚠ Do not tense up or pull excessively on the muscle, especially after a workout!

🕵️I see this problem often during Pulldowns and Pullups. One or two shoulders being unsecure causing them to roll forward during the movement. This can cause neck pain, reduced muscular development and even injuries.

⚠️ Before pulling, bring both shoulders down and back. Stabilising them in place during the lift encourages a healthy movement and proper back development.
