Congratulations 🎉 to Mġarr United women’s team captain Brenda Borg who has won the first Assikura Women’s League Player of the Month award for season 2022/2023.

“I am very pleased to win the first Assikura Women’s League Player of the Month award for season 2022/23,” Borg said. “Although this is an individual award, it belongs to the entire Mġarr United team and technical staff as without their support, this would not have been possible.

“Awards like these increase my motivation to work harder and give my all in training and on the pitch to reach our objectives as a team.”

Everyone at Mgarr United would like to thank Joe Schembri for 17 years of hard work and dedication as President of our beloved Club. Taking our club from the bottom to a Historic Promotion into the Second tier of Maltese Football and being the mastermind of the extension of the Club’s premises including the development of our Ground. Joe will remain active as our Club’s Vice President for next year.

We welcome Manuel Zarb as the Club’s new President and we look forward for all the Challenges that lie ahead! 😁
