Marusko Mercieca - 7
Marusko is Lija Esports’ manager. He has been a Manager for 7 seasons now. He plays as a striker and occupies the number 7. He is a born striker and he is capable to find the net from every angle of the pitch. He is such a fox in the box, and is always there when you need him. As a player at Lija and as a manager, he brings to the club a lot of experience. His positioning in the box is world class and the way he recieves the ball and puts it in the back of the net is eye catching. Lija Esports are glad to have Marusko as their manager.

3 points in the bag for our men in red ⚽️🛑
Winning 3-2 against MM2C United ❗️
We managed to get a win against a tough side which played extremely well.
Our first goal came from an audacious lofted through ball from our playmaker Dugal which sets up our striker Wayne through on goal which did not hesitate but to put the ball in back of the net ⚽️
The second goal came from an amazing kick from our goalkeeper Justin Fenech which found Dugal and he simply did not miss ❌
The third and final goal came from a great build up play with a tidy low cross from Wayne which found our manager Marusko and he had no other option but to put the ball in the back of the net ⚽️
A terrific assist from our keeper is to be mentioned 🛑

Maltese Cup match against Marsa F.C Esports❗️
Marsa F.C Esports won by penalties 👏🏼
Both teams played extremely well in defending ,this comes to show with no goals being scored by any of the two teams.
Our defenders played an important role at not letting the opposition score.
Unfortunately we lost the match with penalties therefore we are out of the cup.
