From 2-0 down to a 3-2 comeback win.
In our first ever EuroHockey Division 1 match — the highest level ever reached by a Maltese club — Qormi showed heart, belief and character to fight back and take the victory.
2-0 down. Still we believed. We never stopped.
Goals from Julian Zahra and a double by Tommy Kok.
A proud moment for Qormi — but this is only the beginning.

That was too close to the medal zone! 🇲🇹 Malta finished 4️⃣th!
John made his professional debut in two events, resulting in Malta's best Deaflympics performances in history. After finishing seventh in the 25km Individual Time Trial last Thursday, he cycled 100km today in the Mass Start event. He came close to winning the bronze medal, by just less than a second behind a Japanese and two Russian cyclists.
Congratulations to John Camilleri on a well-deserved debut. Through hard work and dedication, you made us proud, particularly the Deaf and cycling communities! 😄
