PHYSICAL THERAPY INTENSIVE Walk This Way Malta
We are excited to share we have last minute openings for intensives in October, November and December!
Bookings are also being taken for 2024!
Intensives capitalize on the neuroplasticity of a young child’s brain and allow additional time to focus on existing therapy goals and create new challenges
But… what is neuroplasticity? And why is it so important?
In the easiest of definitions, the brain is able to grow and adapt to positive motor input and create new pathways for information to travel. By repeating a specific skilled exercise over and over again with your child, as we do during an intensive, we are teaching the brain how it is supposed to work and telling it to create a pathway to do it on its own! This leads to progress in areas of concern as well as aids the child to master desired skills and movements.
