What an incredible week it has been at Prix D'Europe, and what a milestone for our JCDC Associates Team!

To train, perform and represent Malta in Paris before such an esteemed panel of teachers and judges has been an unforgettable experience and another proud moment in placing Maltese talent on the international stage.

Watching this team grow, both as dancers and as individuals, makes every hour of preparation, every rehearsal and every challenge worthwhile. Every performance is another milestone achieved, another lesson learnt and another memory that will remain with them for life.

🩰A courtesy visit by Artistic Director Johane Casabene was warmly received by the High Commissioner. She discussed her work curating a photographic exhibition in Malta on renowned ballet master Enrico Cecchetti.

The exhibition showcases rare archival images from Civitanova Marche which traces Cecchetti’s enduring legacy, marking 60 years of the Cecchetti Method in Malta. It was developed in collaboration with Italian partners and reflects a shared commitment to preserving and promoting dance heritage. It also features a special tribute performance honouring Tanya Bayona.

The exhibition has been well received by Malta’s cultural community and is currently on display at Teatru Manoel. It is hoped that this exhibition could also travel to London.
