San Ġiljan ASC is pleased to announce the permanent signing of Chloe Amato, securing one of Malta’s most promising young talents as part of the club’s long-term plans ⚫️🟡🔴

Born in 2009, Chloe has already established an impressive presence within Maltese water polo. A highly talented and versatile all-round player, she has represented the Malta Senior National Team, while also being entrusted with the captaincy of both the U18 and U20 National Teams.

Her development has also continued through the Malta College of Sports (MCS), where she has trained under the guidance of renowned coach Milan Ćirović, further contributing to her progression both technically and tactically.

Despite her young age, Chloe has already demonstrated considerable ability and maturity across different levels of the game. We look forward to providing Chloe with the environment, opportunities and support to continue developing her game and reaching her full potential.

🇷🇸 BEČEJ BOUND! 🤽‍♂️

Our San Ġiljan ASC Academy U14 & U16 squads are off to Bečej, Serbia, for an exciting few days of water polo, training and development from 15–19 September.

A valuable opportunity for our academy girls and boys to gain international experience, challenge themselves in a different environment and continue their development together as a team.

San Giljan Summer School 2026! Tonight we had the pleasure to dine at .mlt Balluta as a closing to our summerschool 2026!

Our lovely kids enjoyed a delicious meal which was then followed by the certificate presentation by head coach Marko Martinic!

It s been an amazing summer of waterpolo to kids from all ages, sporting interests and Malta!

This summer we had the pleasure to host many foreign teams, thus giving our academy of u14 and u16s, match practice, experience and most of all, a summer bursting with fun and a pitch full of dreams!

Our club is proud of these collaborations and will continue to grow and reinforce its foundations of youths!

San Giljan ASC Senior Women’s Team players Marie Rose Tully, Ella Miceli and Miia Clarke Spiteri, Martina Grech and Kyra Portelli are currently representing Malta with the U18 Women’s National Team.

The team is competing in the World Aquatics Women’s U18 Water Polo Championships 2026 in Tenerife Spain, between the 16th - 23rd August 2026

We are proud to see our athletes represent both San Giljan ASC and Malta on the international stage and wish them every success in their forthcoming competitions 🇲🇹🇲🇹🇲🇹
