Not an Exercise post , not a healthy food one either ... but an appreciation post .

Salad Are Not Good For Weight Loss – BOOOM what do you think about that? 🤔🥗


Well wait! Let me rephrase “Not all Salads are good for a weight loss diet!” ...
Most of us make the mistake of ordering a Salad or buying a pre-made salad
Without keeping in mind the cooking method and what is in the Dressing?!
(eg : frying, cooking in loads of honey, using sugar for the dressing.. etc! )😥🍗🥓🍤

♦️Make sure that when eating out you know what you are eating –


Iet’s face it you’d rather eat a delicious plate of pasta rather than a calorie dense salad right? 😋🍝

Diastasis Recti (aka ‘abs separation or tummy gap’) 🤔


What is DR ?
The six pack muscles have to stretch away from each other in late pregnancy to make space for the baby, and all of the other abdominal muscles and connective tissue have to adapt too. All women in their third trimester have some degree of diastasis recti. 🤰


🚨Most mamas with DR complain of a sore back (due to the separation and a weakened core), the “mommy pooch” that doesn’t get better, chronic hip pain, sometimes prolapse or internal abdominal pain they can’t really pin point, peeing when you sneeze/jump or feelings of extremely weak “abs”.


💡This can be avoided postpartum if you workout smarter not harder throughout /after your pregnancy as while certain exercises heal DR others may hinder the healing process. Always make sure that when you are working you have a qualified trainer who knows what he/she is doing especially post-partum who can assist you! (also if you suffer from any condition) and do not join a Class without individual attention ! .
🚫Today I will be giving you a list of exercises you should AVOID:
❌Crunches ❌Sit ups ❌Bicycle crunches ❌Leg raises ❌Front plank ❌Any deep twisting exercises ❌Scissors / flutter kicks
❌Weighted abdominal exercises


P.S Amongst pergnancy there might be other Diastasis recti causes like ; excess belly fat , intense core workout and even the flu😯 😣
