Through strength, awareness, and unity, we kick harder—not just in training, but in the fight against cancer. 💪💗

Another success story. Mario Cilia Attard , a person who started karate over 30 years ago but due to an injury couldn't continue training, has now achieved a well deserved First Degree Black Belt. Well done Mario ! I am proud of you because you were determined and focused throughout your personal journey. A big thank you goes to his Uke (sparring partner) Alex Flores and Sensei Cristinel Ursu who has been there to assist me with the training of the clubs students when I was absent. As the saying goes , it's just the beginning. I hope this achievement drives you to achieve greater things in life and karate . Well done.

2025 Adult Group 💪

Alex embarked on his training journey with our club on December 6th, 2016. Having previously trained in Karate years ago, he decided to reignite his passion and give it another go. I'm thrilled he did because 8 years later, he has proudly earned his black belt—a true testament to his unwavering determination! Congratulations, Alex. You are an inspiration to many!

And THIRD Dan it is ! I am extremely proud of all the hard work that Cris has put in for this grading. It is not easy to reach such a level with today's busy lifestyle but with full determination and showing up to the dojo every time to train , everyone can make it ! Keep strong and well done.

This afternoon attended an online funeral of an ex Karate student of mine who passed away due to cancer at the age of 54. His doctors gave him 3 months and with his fighting spirit and positive energy he managed to live on for a a total of 16 months. 💪

He was a genuine nice guy who always put others first. When I met him for the first time and started talking to him it was like we've known each other for a lifetime and immediately became good friends ! Training with him many years ago will be one of the memories i will keep of him. His cheeky grin, whitty comments ! Deepest condolences to his wife, daughter and family and all those loved ones he left behind. Gone too soon. Will miss you but keep you in my prayers and thoughts. ❤️

Christmas Party 2023 . Celebrating a great year !
