Do we talk openly enough about postpartum and how good are we at acknowledging that there are many variations of a normal postpartum period? With my first baby I prepared hard for the birth, educating myself on every detail and felt on cloud 9 in the days afterwards but as I slowly adjusted to the new kind of normal I wished someone had guided me more or maybe I should have listened more about what to expect in the overwhelming weeks and months after birth. . Pregnancy and birth are not just the main event and that's why we dedicate a part of the Mindful Birth workshop to Postpartum Self-care. Next Mindful Birth Partners workshop happening 27/4.
