Our U19s have today travelled to Hungary to compete in the prestigious Tibor Benedek Memorial Tournament, joining an elite field of European water polo clubs. The tournament features top sides including KSI, Honvéd, Vasas, Szolnok, Pro Recco, BVSC, and UVSE offering an excellent high-level platform for player development and international experience 🤽🏻‍♂️

This participation holds special significance for Sliema, as Tibor Benedek himself played for Sliema in 2006 during Malta’s Summer League. His legacy as one of the greatest water polo players of all time continues to inspire the club’s young athletes 🇭🇺 💙🩵

🇬🇷 Off to Volos! 🇬🇷
This morning our U16 squad departed for Greece to take part in the 21st Splash Tournament in Volos! 🤽🏻‍♂️

The team will be accompanied by Coach Feco, Academy Manager Andrea Bianchi and Nutritionist Mariella Porter.

Beyond the tournament, the players will also engage in Training sessions to sharpen their skills and Nutrition talks and lessons to support their development both in and out of the pool 💪

Our U12 team was in action today!

They took part in the Waterpolo Marathon in aid of Waterpolo Ability Malta, showing great teamwork, energy, and passion throughout the day!

We’re proud of all our young players for their effort and sportsmanship representing our academy in the best way possible!
