ATTN: PDSA: Professional Diving Schools Association Malta advised that due to some vessel maouvers, dive centres and diver should ideally avoid Manoel Island / X127 dive site for safety reasons and as area may be closed off by marina operator on Tuesday and Wednesday. Also PDSA is trying to have portaloos placed on site.

Well done Malta Skin Divers Club for spearheading this campaign! Spearfishermen, Freedivers, SCUBA divers and all swimmers and sometimes even other boat users are at risk of uneducated and/or careless drivers of vessels. Sadly this has already resulted in fatalities in the past. Share and remind boat users of staying well away from any yellow or orange buoy and diver signs and navigate at slow speed anywhere near shore.
