15 minutes for your back.
A simple pause from sitting, screens, and long hours in one position.
Move slowly through each shape. Try to stay at least 1 min in each pose.
Let the breath guide the release.
Hips, spine, shoulders — soften a little more with every exhale.
Nothing to achieve here.
Just space to feel lighter again.

Yoga is often reduced to what can be seen: the postures, the flexibility, the shapes of the body.
But traditionally, yoga was never only about movement.
The word yoga comes from the Sanskrit root yuj — to yoke, to unite. It points to a practice of integration: of body, breath, mind, attention, and ultimately, awareness itself.
So while we may share videos of asana and flowing sequences, much of the practice happens beyond what is visible.
It is in the breath.
In the discipline of returning.
In observing the mind.
In becoming aware of our vrittis — the fluctuations of thought described in the Yoga Sutras.
The practice is not simply about becoming stronger or more flexible. It is also about learning to see more clearly, to steady the mind, and to come back into relationship with ourselves.
Asana is one part of yoga — a valuable one — but it is not the whole path.
May we continue to honour yoga not only as movement, but as a practice of awareness, union, and inner steadiness.

Surya Namaskar ☀️
In the Hatha yoga tradition, Hatha represents the union of ha (sun) and tha (moon) — balancing effort and ease, masculine and feminine energies. Surya Namaskar expresses this harmony through movement and breath.
Practised with awareness, it awakens prana, builds steady heat, and helps regulate the nervous system — strengthening the body while bringing balance to the mind.
A simple sequence. A complete practice.
