Trishul Ekta Mandali wishes all devotees a Happy Mahashivratri 2014.
Happy Thaipoosam Cavadee 2014 to everyone. May Lord Muruga bring his blessing upon us all and help us overcome every difficulties in our lives; free us from pain and illnesses, free us of our sins and evils, educate our mind, and make the world a better place for everyone to thrive with peace and harmony.
I'm in Mauritius right now. I've returned as planned to celebrate Cavadee and Maha Shivratri festivals with all Hindu members.
Hinduism is a very broad religion. It includes Tamil and Telegu. There are three major subdivision of Hinduism in Mauritius; Hindu, Tamil and Telegu. This is related to the cultural and language background of our forefathers who originated from different regions of India for example, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh etc. In the end, we are in principle Hindu by faith because we recognize our faith by the same belief in God.
I would like to meet our members after the Cavadee festival; around the end of January 2014 that we can plan ahead of the Maha Shivratri festival. Come & see me at home anytime.

Ganga Snan will be celebrated on Sunday 17th November 2013.
We wish you will all get to celebrate this special occasion with pride and joy especially when the vast stretch of our public beaches are dwindling day by day to make way for 5 star hotels. Remember: It's more than just a day out at the seaside.
Compliments from
