04 January 2023 - Surgery went well 🙏🏽
1 year ago I had a multiple fracture of my right wrist following a snowboarding accident. As a daily yoga practitioner, this was extremely tough and frustrating. Still, one of the best things yoga has taught me is that you can find good in every challenge life throws your way.
So, what have I learnt from this injury? So much but I will share a few takeaways with you 💕
Patience
Patience is not my strong suit; I love getting things done. I had to let go of the will to DO something to heal. There is no quick fix, no such thing as ‘healing faster’, you must just give your body time to recover.
Gratefulness
Every single improvement is a delight. I have stopped taking my body for granted, and now I feel really grateful for everything I can do.
Teaching Evolves
This experience has made me improve my verbal cues, as I have to be more precise and really focus on the essentials to make sure my students understand me. It has also made me understand what a student is going through when they walk into my class with an injury.
Studio will reopen Jan 12th 2023 ❤️

*Who am I?*
I got asked this question in my first yoga teacher training. Wooow a powerful question that really got me thinking and allowed me to become the person I wanted to be today.
The task of finding out who you are isn’t an easy one. It’s probably one of the hardest things you’ll ever take on. Discovering your identity is a journey, not an ending- so don’t rush it!
A few ways to get you started on this question :)
Ask yourself, who are you right now? What are your strengths? Your flaws? What you need to do is identify who you want to become.
One of the best parts about discovering the answer to “who am I,” is figuring out parts of yourself you never knew about. Go out there and discover yourself. Try new things. try your hand at hobbies and projects that are available to you right now.
If you’re hoping to develop yourself as a person, perhaps look at the people that surround you. Are they pushing you forward or holding you back? Remember, you get to choose who to let in, and who to cut loose.

P A U S E. Take it all in. Right where you are now. Look around you. Look at the world around you and all the blessings that surround you. Take in even the simplest wonderful things around you and even the people you are with. You are blessed & loved💕The world needs you just the way you are. Not a muted or toned down version, but the real and authentic you 🌸

What is for you will not pass you by 🤍don’t forget that. It’s all coming. Go out and create magic 💫 and leave the universe to work its own.
One day you’re going to look back and realise that you were never behind, you were never anywhere other than where you needed to be 🌸
