🇲🇺 A MOMENT THAT MARKS HISTORY. 🥋🏆

At the SJJIF World Championship 2026 in Tokyo, Japan — on the very same stage where our warriors competed and our World Champion was crowned — something equally powerful and deeply moving took place.

Coach Tawfiq Jaunbocus received his 2nd Stripe on his Black Belt — awarded by none other than Professor Joao Silva. 🖤✨

Let that moment sink in.

A black belt is not a destination. It is a beginning. And every stripe that follows is a testament to something that goes far beyond technique — it is a recognition of who you are on and off the mat. Your character. Your sacrifices. Your dedication to this art and to every single person you have ever taught, guided, and inspired. 🙏

Coach Tawfiq has been one of the cornerstones of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Mauritius. A competitor who still steps on the mat at the World Championship. A coach who gives everything to his athletes. A mentor who shapes not just fighters — but human beings. And a brother who has stood by this federation through every season — the victories, the challenges, and everything in between. 🔥

This stripe is not just his. It belongs to every athlete he has ever coached. Every white belt he has ever welcomed to the mat. Every person whose life he has touched through the art of Jiu-Jitsu. 🇲🇺

And to receive it from Professor Joao Silva — on the world stage, in Tokyo — makes this moment one that the Mauritius Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation will carry with pride for years to come.

Coach Tawfiq — you are living proof that dedication never goes unrewarded. 🖤✨

We are honoured to have you. We are proud to call you family. And we cannot wait to see everything this next chapter brings — for you, for your athletes, and for Mauritius BJJ. 🇲🇺🔥

Oss. 🤛
