Wonderful internal competition day...

We took the opportunity of our AGM gathering to recognize and reward three of our members for their outstanding contributions.

Ryan Chan and Aidan Shiu (represented by his father, Danny Shiu ) were honored for their exceptional performance and for proudly representing the Mauritian flag at the last African Championship.

Karl Ng was recognized for his remarkable 17 years of dedication and loyalty to the club. He consistently supports our coach, particularly during induction training sessions, and remains a valued pillar of our community.

We are proud to announce that some of the best archers will be taking part in the 1st Intervilles 2026 Archery Competition.

Although our club is based in Rose-Hill, our archers come from different cities and regions across the island, and some of them will be proudly representing their respective municipalities in this event.

This competition marks the very first Intervilles archery event in Mauritius, bringing together municipalities in a spirit of unity, sportsmanship, and excellence 🎯

1st INTERVILLES 2026 ARCHERY COMPETITION

The Association of Urban Authorities, in collaboration with the Mauritius Archery Federation, is pleased to announce the organisation of the 1st Intervilles 2026 Archery Competition.

📅 Sunday 08 February 2026
📍 Pavillion Sports Centre, Quatre Bornes

The competition is open to Mauritian residents representing the following municipalities: Beau Bassin–Rose Hill, Curepipe, Port Louis, Quatre Bornes and Vacoas–Phoenix.

🏹 Participation Rules :
➡️ Only ONE (1) archer per municipality per category is allowed.
➡️ Each municipality may register a maximum of 8 archers.

Categories per municipality

Junior Category (Under 18 – born 2009 or later)
* U18 – 18 metres – Men (1 archer)
* U18 – 18 metres – Women (1 archer)
* U18 – 30 metres – Men (1 archer)
* U18 – 30 metres – Women (1 archer)

Senior Category (18+ – born 2008 or earlier)
* 18+ – 18 metres – Men (1 archer)
* 18+ – 18 metres – Women (1 archer)
* 18+ – 30 metres – Men (1 archer)
* 18+ – 30 metres – Women (1 archer)

The general public is warmly invited to attend. Entry is free.
