Look Keo pedals are well-known lightweight, high-performance road bike pedals for serious cyclists (approximately 125g per pedal). This lightweight design, however, requires more frequent maintenance than more robust pedal systems like Shimano SPD/SPD-SL.

▪️Expected Bearing Lifespan

Casual Usage: the bearings can last 1-3 years under normal riding conditions, assuming regular maintenance.

High Mileage or Harsh Conditions: If you ride frequently (e.g., 8,000+ km per year) or in wet, muddy, or dusty environments, bearings may wear out sooner, possibly requiring replacement every 8-12 months.

⚠️Riding with worn-out bearings may damage the pedal body and axle risking a complete replacement.

Approx every 6 months / 4,000-6,000Km (your mileage may vary on riding conditions)

▪️Tips to Extend the Pedal's Life

1. Regular Cleaning: Wipe down pedals after wet or dirty rides to prevent grit and moisture from entering the bearings.
2. Lubrication: Clean and repack bearings with grease every 4,000-6,000 Km to maintain smooth operation.
3. Inspection: Periodically check for excessive play or roughness and address issues promptly.
4. Avoid High-Pressure Washing: This can force water and dirt into the bearing seals, accelerating wear.

Bike Service 🔧: ORRO Venturi STC
Featuring Campagnolo's Super Record 12-speed EPS groupset, Campagnolo Bora Ultra WTO wheels, and a versatile aerodynamic frame, this is a high-end road bike that combines speed, comfort, and performance.

Here's what we did to make sure this bike is in top condition:

Drivetrain:
▪️ Serviced the Ultra-Torque BB's ceramic bearings, the core of the Campagnolo drivetrain, to secure proper pedaling efficiency and power transfer.
▪️ Replaced the Super Record cassette, as requested by the customer.
▪️ Cleaned the Super Record chain with Muc Off's Bio Drivetrain cleaner to dissolve any grime between the steel and titanium parts and ensured that all the gears would shift correctly on the new cassette.
▪️ Lubricated the chain with Silca's 'Super Secret' chain l**e. (customer's choice)

Brakes:
▪️ Replaced the disc brake rotors with new ones, as per the customer's request.
▪️ Removed the disc brake pads and cleaned the pistons with a Muc Off's Disc Brake Cleaner. This prevents the pistons from sticking and ensures a modulated braking performance.
▪️ Adjusted the disc brake calipers to align them with the new rotors eliminating any rubbing or noise.

Wheels:
▪️ Serviced the hub bearings of the Campagnolo Bora Ultra WTO wheels. These wheels use CULT ceramic bearings. We cleaned the bearings, applied a thin layer of low-viscosity grease, and adjusted the preload.

Bike Care:
▪️ Cleaned the bike with Muc Off's Nano Tech Cleaner to remove dirt and grime.
▪️ Used Muc Off's Miracle Shine on the frame and Silicone Shine on the components to create a dirt and water-repellant UV protective layer.

[Part 2] Bike Service: Giant Propel Pro Disc - Shimano Ulterga Di2 11s;
A dream for road cyclists who value speed, aerodynamics, and performance.

▪️ We cleaned the tires and the Giant SLR rims of any residue and injected Muc Off's Tubeless sealant before reinflating the tires.

▪️ We bled the hydraulic brakes using Shimano's mineral oil and ensured the brakes functioned correctly.

▪️ We cleaned the bike with Muc Off's Nano Tech Cleaner to remove any dirt and grime without damaging the paint or components before applying MO's Miracle Shine and Bike Protect, to create a protective layer and a glossy finish on the bike.

▪️ Since the bike was kept in a damp area, the chain built up rust. We replaced it with a KMC X11EL Ti-N; a chain coated with a hard ceramic material that reduces friction and provides wear resistance. As a bonus, it gives the chain a golden color, which looks awesome.

▪️ We cleaned the chain with Muc Off Bio Drivetrain cleaner to dissolve the factory grease lubricating it with MO's Ludicrous AF chain l**e.

▪️ We wrapped the cleaned bars with cork-textured black handlebar tape for good grip and added comfort.
