Ever wonder why some divers surface with half a tank left while yours is already in the orange?
It's not about lung size β it's about technique. Your air consumption is one of the clearest signs of how relaxed and efficient you are underwater. The good news? It's a skill, and it gets better every single dive.

A once-in-5-years moment!
We often see bottlenose dolphins riding alongside our boats at the surface β but this month, for the first time in 5 years of diving here, we encountered them underwater.
No words can really describe that feeling: sharing the silence with these incredibly intelligent, curious animals, watching them move through their own world.
The rarest sighting of the month β and a reminder of why we never stop looking down.

Mastering the Controlled Ascent
One of the most important skills in diving isn't going down β it's coming up right.
- Ascend no faster than 9-10m/min (slower than your bubbles!)
- Look up, one hand on your reference line if available
- Perform a safety stop at 5m for 3 minutes
- Keep breathing normally β never hold your breath
A smooth, controlled ascent protects you from decompression sickness and lung overexpansion injuries. Take your time β the surface isn't going anywhere!

From passionate diver to Divemaster
Two months ago, Thomas was just like many of you: someone who loved the ocean and was curious to discover what lies beneath the surface.
Last week, he's just completed his PADI Divemaster training β the first professional step in the world of diving.
What pushed him to take the leap? The desire to become a better, more confident diver and discover everything that happens beyond the dive itself.
In this photo, he proudly stands alongside Olly, Tom, Cindy and Jean-Luc, who guided him throughout his training journey.
Congrats Thomas, and welcome to the team of diving professionals!
