In 2001, Stephan and his friends dug trenches at Bois Mangue and laid cables for lights so they could train at night. Today he coaches the U11, and his younger son plays for the Pirates. "This club is like a big family to me." ๐Ÿ‰

A fantastic tournament filled with great rugby, team spirit, big smiles and plenty of Pirates pride! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ–ค

A huge thank you to all our players, coaches, parents, volunteers, officials and supporters who made the day such a success.

From the youngest Pirates taking their first steps on the pitch to our older teams giving it their all, this is what rugby is all about: playing together, learning together and growing together.

Over the years, the Northern Pirates Rugby Club has grown and written new chapters on and off the pitch.

Our emblem has changed along the way, reflecting each stage of that journey.

From where we started to where we stand today, every logo tells a little piece of our story.

25 years of evolution. And the journey continues. ๐Ÿ‰

In 2001, about ten rugby lovers, most of them just back from their studies, met on a plot of land at Bois Mangue, Belle Vue, and started a club. ๐Ÿ‰

Twenty-five years later, the Northern Pirates have more than ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“๐ŸŽ ๐ฅ๐ข๐œ๐ž๐ง๐ฌ๐ž๐ ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐š๐ฒ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ at Labourdonnais Sports Club. There are children, parents, coaches and former players, and many families now have two generations on the same pitch.

For the next two months, we're telling the story through the people who lived it: the founders who marked out the pitch by hand, the first Pirate Chicks, the coaches and committee who kept the club going, and the young players carrying the jersey forward.
