A rare and beautiful moment on our Mauritius reef 🤍🟠
During this dive, we observed two Goniobranchus annulatus actively mating, a fascinating behavior where both individuals act as male and female at the same time — a reminder that nudibranchs are simultaneous hermaphrodites.

🥷 NINJA NUDIBRANCH
(Roboastra luteolineata)
Nicknamed the Ninja Nudibranch for a reason — this species is a fast, stealthy predator, actively hunting other nudibranchs. No grazing here… pure carnivore on the move 👀⚡️

⚡ Another rare sighting! ⚡
The legendary Pikachu nudibranch, hiding in plain sight.
After thousands of dives, we finally found it.
Looks cute… but toxic
One of the most iconic nudibranchs in the ocean.

Today, the ocean offered us a truly rare gift.
Hundreds of nudibranchs, most likely from the Gymnodoris family, were observed in a mass aggregation.
Mating behavior and egg-laying were clearly visible across the site.
In over two decades of diving, this is the first time I’ve witnessed such an event — a remarkable moment of marine life reproduction unfolding before our eyes. Here are couple pictures and we hope you enjoy it 🫶
