Five years ago, Aquastars began with a simple but important mission: to help more people learn to swim, feel confident in the water and develop skills that could one day save a life.

Since then, thousands of children and adults have taken their first strokes with us. We have watched nervous beginners become confident swimmers, children discover a lifelong love of the water and adults achieve something they may once have thought was beyond them. 💙

What started as a small swim school has grown into an incredible community of swimmers, families, teachers, partners and supporters, all united by a belief in the importance of swimming and water safety.

To every parent who trusted us, every swimmer who showed courage, every teacher who brought energy and care to the pool, and every partner who believed in our journey and also to La City Trianon: thank you. You have all played a part in making Aquastars what it is today.

We are incredibly proud of our first five years, but we are even more excited about what comes next! 🌊

Aquastars is expanding at RM Club Grand Baie and is looking for energetic, reliable people to join our team as part-time or casual Swimming Teachers.

You must be great with children, based in or near the North, and have your own transport.

Research involving 7,000 children under five years old by Griffith University across Australia, New Zealand and the US found that babies who do learn-to-swim lessons from a young age reach many developmental milestones earlier than those that don't. 🤩🎓💪

Babies who took swimming lessons showed more advanced cognitive 🎓 and physical abilities 💪, with benefits linked to language, following instructions, visual-motor skills, coordination, and movement confidence.

Baby swimming is not just a cute first activity. It is a beautiful early learning experience that can help support:

Aquastars is now taking registrations for new baby swimming lesson timeslots at La City Trianon, held in our indoor heated pool at 31°C — the warmest learn-to-swim pool in Mauritius 💙

👉 Thursdays 10:45am – 11:15am
Babies 6 months – 1 year
👉 Thursdays 11:15am – 11:45am
Babies 1 – 2 years

Our baby classes are warm, gentle, safe, and fun — giving your little one a beautiful introduction to the water while supporting early development.
