⭐ AquaStars is celebrating 5 years of making waves!🌊🥳

Five years ago, Aquastars began with a simple but important mission: to help more people learn to swim, feel confident in the water and develop skills that could one day save a life.

Since then, thousands of children and adults have taken their first strokes with us. We have watched nervous beginners become confident swimmers, children discover a lifelong love of the water and adults achieve something they may once have thought was beyond them. 💙

What started as a small swim school has grown into an incredible community of swimmers, families, teachers, partners and supporters, all united by a belief in the importance of swimming and water safety.

To every parent who trusted us, every swimmer who showed courage, every teacher who brought energy and care to the pool, and every partner who believed in our journey and also to La City Trianon: thank you. You have all played a part in making Aquastars what it is today.

We are incredibly proud of our first five years, but we are even more excited about what comes next! 🌊

Come and celebrate with us at Aquastars Trianon this weekend and help us mark five years of learning, confidence, water safety and making waves! 🎉🥳

Thank you MBC 🙏💙💦

For World Drowning Prevention Day on July 25th the MBC visited Aquastars to bring more awareness and talk about something very close to our hearts: keeping children safer around water.

They spoke with our Director, Diane Hiddlestone, along with Aquastars parents and swimmers, about water safety, confidence, and what we can all do as a country to help prevent drowning.

In Mauritius, water is everywhere — pools, beaches, lagoons, rivers, boats and family days out 🌊☀️
Simple actions save lives:

👀 Active supervision
🏊 Learning to swim
🚧 Safer water environments
💙 Water confidence from an early age
❤️ Knowing what to do in an emergency

Let’s keep building safer swimmers, safer families, and a safer Mauritius 🇲🇺

Today is World Drowning Prevention Day! 💦

At Aquastars, water safety is at the heart of what we do 💙💛

Every lesson, every skill, and every moment of confidence in the water matters. But drowning prevention is not only about swimming lessons.

It is also about active supervision, safer environments, emergency awareness, floating skills, and a community that takes water safety seriously 👀🏊‍♀️🌊

This World Drowning Prevention Day, we encourage every family to make one simple commitment:

Be more aware.
Be more prepared.
Be more active around water. ⭐

Every child deserves to enjoy water safely 💙🌊

Aquastars is proud to support World Drowning Prevention Day — 25 July.

Drowning prevention starts with simple actions that save lives:
👀 active supervision
🏊‍♀️ learning to swim
🚧 safer water environments
❤️ basic rescue and CPR awareness
💦 building water confidence from an early age

For Mauritian families, water is part of our everyday life — pools, beaches, lagoons, rivers, boats and holidays.

This World Drowning Prevention Day, let’s help more children become safer, stronger and more confident around water.

Teach the world to swim. Start close to home.

Water is part of everyday life in Mauritius 🌊☀️

Pools, beaches, lagoons, rivers, boats, hotels, family gatherings — our children are often around water 💦

That’s why water safety needs to be part of everyday parenting too 💙

Before children play near water, take a moment to:

Check the environment.
Watch the children.
Know the limits.
Teach safe habits early. 👀🏊‍♀️

Water is beautiful.
Water also deserves respect 💛
