💔 TO EVERYONE WHO HAS INVESTED IN DISTRIBUTEX (DX) — PLEASE READ
If you have invested your hard-earned money in DistributeX (DX) and are now experiencing difficulties with your investment or withdrawals, take a breath before doing anything else.
Maybe it was your savings.
Maybe it was money you borrowed.
Maybe it was money intended for your family, your home, your business or your future.
And now you may be asking yourself:
“How can I recover my money?”
“Why did I trust them?”
“What should I do now?”
First of all:
❤️ DO NOT BLAME YOURSELF.
You made a financial decision based on information and representations that were presented to you.
Right now, panic will not help.
What you need is calmness, documentation and action.
This message is intended to help people organise themselves and take the appropriate steps — not to create fear or make unverified accusations.
---
🛑 1. DO NOT SEND MORE MONEY
If you are asked to make an additional payment before you can withdraw your existing funds, stop and verify the request first.
Be particularly careful with requests described as:
- “Withdrawal fees”
- “Verification fees”
- “Taxes”
- “Account activation”
- “Security deposits”
- “Release fees”
- Or any other payment supposedly required before your money can be released
Do not send additional money simply because you are afraid of losing what you have already invested.
Keep the request and the conversation as evidence.
---
📂 2. PRESERVE EVERYTHING
Do not delete your conversations or documents.
Save copies of:
📱 WhatsApp messages
🎙️ Voice notes
📸 Screenshots
🎥 Videos and presentations
🔗 Referral links and codes
💳 Bank-transfer receipts
₿ Cryptocurrency transaction records
📊 DX account screenshots
💰 Withdrawal requests
📄 Contracts or documents
📧 Emails and correspondence
Also preserve messages or promotional material containing statements such as:
“DX is safe.”
“DX is approved.”
“Your money is guaranteed.”
“You cannot lose.”
“You will definitely receive your return.”
If somebody encouraged you to invest more money, keep those communications too.
Do not edit or manipulate the original material.
---
👤 3. DOCUMENT THE PERSON WHO INTRODUCED YOU
Being a recruiter or referral participant does not automatically mean that a person is legally responsible for your loss.
However, if someone personally encouraged you to invest, document what happened.
Write down:
Who introduced you → what they told you → when they told you → how much you invested → how you paid → whether they received commissions or benefits → what happened when you attempted to withdraw.
If you believe somebody knowingly made false representations or continued promoting the investment despite knowing of serious problems, provide the relevant information to the appropriate authorities.
Do not threaten them.
Do not harass them.
Do not publish personal information about them.
Document the facts and let the appropriate authorities investigate.
---
⚖️ 4. REPORT — DON'T JUST COMPLAIN ON FACEBOOK
The Financial Services Commission (FSC) Mauritius has issued an Investor Alert concerning DistributeX (DX) and lists the matter under its unauthorised entities/notices.
That is an important reason for investors experiencing problems to take the matter seriously and seek information directly from the appropriate authorities.
If you believe you have been affected:
Document your case and make a proper report through the appropriate official channels.
Do not rely only on Facebook posts, WhatsApp groups or information circulating among investors.
Official sources should be your reference point.
---
🧾 5. WRITE YOUR COMPLETE STORY
Create one document containing your complete timeline.
For example:
Date:
Who contacted me:
What I was told:
Amount invested:
Payment method:
Transaction/reference number:
DX account information:
Withdrawal requested:
Amount requested:
Response received:
Additional payment requested:
Evidence attached:
Continue this from the first day you were introduced to DX until today.
A properly organised timeline can make it much easier for an investigator, regulator or legal adviser to understand what happened.
---
🧩 6. VICTIMS SHOULD SHARE INFORMATION — CAREFULLY
If other investors have experienced similar problems, speak with them.
Compare information such as:
- How you were introduced to DX
- What representations were made
- Payment methods
- Referral structures
- Withdrawal experiences
- Names or organisations involved
- Communications received
For example, if properly documented complaints showed 100 investors and Rs10 million in alleged losses, that could provide investigators with a much clearer picture of the scale and pattern of the complaints.
But remember:
Do not exaggerate.
Do not fabricate evidence.
Do not accuse people without evidence.
Stick to facts that you can document.
---
🚨 7. BE CAREFUL WITH RECOVERY SCAMS
There is another danger that victims should be aware of.
After losing money, you may be contacted by someone claiming:
“We can recover your DX money.”
They may then ask for an upfront payment, cryptocurrency transfer, “legal fee”, “tax”, “processing fee” or other charge.
Be extremely careful.
Losing money once should not lead to losing even more money to someone promising to recover it.
Verify who you are dealing with before making any payment.
---
❤️ TO ANYONE WHO IS NOW STRUGGLING
If you have lost money or are unable to access your investment, you may be feeling angry, embarrassed, desperate or ashamed.
Please don't isolate yourself.
Financial losses can be devastating, but they do not define your worth or your future.
Right now, focus on what you can control:
Don't panic.
Don't send more money without verification.
Don't destroy evidence.
Don't threaten anyone.
Don't spread unverified accusations.
Document everything.
Report through the appropriate channels.
Turn your frustration into documentation.
Turn your documentation into a clear record.
And turn that record into action.
You are not powerless.
Take a breath.
Organise your evidence.
Protect yourself from further losses.
And take the proper steps.
🇲🇺 If you know someone who invested in DX and is currently experiencing problems, share this message with them.
