„Reimagine: Beyond the world we know, a new relationship with our ocean.“There is a place where every heartbeat slows down. 💙A place that reminds us how small we are, yet how deeply connected we all belong.THE OCEAN 🌊 It gives us wonder before it gives us answers. It teaches us humility before it teaches us strength. From the surface to the depths below, every encounter is a privilege.Every breath we take near the sea.Every sunrise reflected on the water.Every dive into the blue.Every moment of silence beneath the waves. It is magic.Real, living magic. And yet, this beauty is not guaranteed. The ocean does not need our admiration alone. It needs our respect. Our voice. Our action.Because protecting the ocean is not about saving something far away.It is about protecting the very system that gives life to our blue planet.Today, we are not just witnesses. We are storytellers. We are guardians. We are ambassadors.Ambassadors of a world that still has the power to inspire awe.A world that deserves to be experienced by future generations exactly as it leaves us breathless today. So when you stand at the shoreline...When you dive beneath the surface...When you share the beauty you have seen...Remember:Every image.Every story.Every action. Can inspire someone to care. And when people care, they protect.Together, let us reimagine our relationship with the ocean. Not as visitors. But as part of it.Because every one of us is an ambassador for this extraordinary blue planet. And its future begins with us.🌊💙🎥 •••

Did you know that the gorgeous harlequin shrimp feeds almost exclusively on sea stars?

The harlequin shrimp is famous for its extraordinary feeding behavior. Unlike most shrimp species, it relies almost entirely on sea stars for food.

Its preferred prey includes various species, such as cushion stars and blue sea stars. Using their powerful claws, harlequin shrimp can carefully flip a sea star onto its back, immobilizing it before feeding.

They consume the tube feet and soft tissues while keeping the sea star alive for as long as possible, ensuring a fresh food supply that can last for several days. This unusual feeding strategy is one of the most specialized diets found among marine crustaceans.

Because of their dependence on sea stars, the distribution of harlequin shrimp is often closely linked to the availability of suitable prey.

Nature never ceases to amaze us—and the harlequin shrimp is a perfect example of how extraordinary life beneath the waves can be.

Want to learn more about this fascinating creature? We'll unveil all its secrets in our June newsletter. Stay tuned!

Yesterday was World Reef Day 🌊💙Coral reefs cover less than 1% of the ocean floor, yet they support nearly 25% of all marine life. They are the heartbeat of our oceans, the nurseries of the sea, and a reminder of how precious and fragile our underwater world truly is.Protect what you love. Protect our reefs. 🐠🪸💙 🎥 EMI

No matter how many dives you’ve done…No matter how many mantas you’ve seen… 🖤The moment they appear at Manta Point and glide silently above your head, time stands still. 🌊✨For a few magical seconds, nothing else exists. No noise. No stress. No world above the surface. 🎥 Marcus Hauck

Have you ever encountered pilot whales?

What if we told you it’s happening in the Maldives more often than you might imagine…

One of the most fascinating things about these incredible creatures is their social structure. Pilot whales live in strong, matriarchal pods—led by older females—where individuals often stay with the same family group for their entire lives.

Their bond is so deep that they are known for their remarkable loyalty to one another, moving through the ocean as one.

Curious to discover more about these extraordinary encounters?
