Bismillah. Masha Allah, we have begun the Islamic Gratitude Life Coach program, designed especially for Maldivians.

Before learning how to coach others, we started with something more fundamental: understanding the lens through which we view life itself.

In Week 1, we explored the purpose of life from an Islamic perspective and what that means for how we support another person through growth, change and transformation.

We explored the difference between coaching and other adjacent professions, developing clarity around what coaching is, what it is not, and the role and responsibility of a coach.

We also examined the traditional Wheel of Life, a familiar coaching tool, and explored its limitations when viewed through an Islamic lens.

This led us to the 𝐃𝐄𝐖𝐃𝐑𝐎𝐏 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐰𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬™, which looks beyond simply creating “balance” across different areas of life and considers how each area connects to our greater purpose and our relationship with Allah SWT.

Islamic Gratitude Coaching is not simply conventional coaching with Islamic terminology added.

The worldview matters.
The purpose matters.
The framework matters.

And this is where our journey begins.

Alhamdulillah for a beautiful first week, for the conversations, reflections and learning, and for this wonderful group who have chosen to embark on this journey together.

Week 1 complete. The journey to reconstruct out of the cocoon and Gratitude Butterflying to becoming an Islamic Gratitude Coach has begun.

I am deeply grateful to Allah SWT for the ability to pursue this dream and for the vision to create a wealth-magnet world beyond what I once imagined.

A vision to plant seeds today so that, In Sha Allah, whoever comes after us may one day benefit from their shade.

Bismillah. Masha Allah, Laa Guvvatha Illa Billahi. For the first time, I’m sharing a little of what I’ve been quietly working on for the past two years ♥️

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗵𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 has gone through 19 versions, countless corrections, and more reflection than I ever imagined when I began.

Some months, I thought, “This is the final version.”

Then I would see another sentence to strengthen, another idea to clarify, another layer that deserved more care.

Alhamdulillah for the journey.

This book has asked a great deal of me, but it has also taught me a great deal about excellence, patience, responsibility, and intention.

InshaAllah, the day is getting closer when I can finally place it in your hands.

For now, this is the first small glimpse of Gratitude Butterflying from an idea carried quietly in my heart into something I can finally begin to share 🦋

Bismillah ♥️ Islamic Gratitude Coaching begins today at 3:30 PM, Insha Allah.

As part of my commitment to championing Islamic Gratitude, I will be running a series of certification programmes — and I am dedicating the first cohort especially to fellow Maldivian changemakers.

If you have been thinking about joining but have not yet decided, there is still time to step into the Gratitude Butterflying Field.

STEP IN BOLDLY: changemakers recognise the moment and seize the opportunity when it knocks.

After running different coach certification programmes for the past five years, this work has finally found its own backbone.

The roots are firmly established.
And the dream is much bigger now.

This rebranding also aligns with my ongoing PhD research to develop and validate an Islamic Gratitude Coaching Model for Sustained High Performance.

What was planted as an idea while I felt broken, beaten, and deep in the dungeon — looking out toward a wider horizon from the small island of Feydhoo, Addu Atoll, Maldives — grew into a bold and irresistible dream.

Alhamdulillah, Insha Allah, today it is becoming a methodology, a field of practice, and a movement for meaningful change across the Muslim world.
