Tristan Terorotua recently submitted this 14.06-kilogram (31-pound) black snoek to potentially set the IGFA All-Tackle World Record for the species. Tristan was jigging off Addu Atoll in the Maldives 🇲🇻 when this deep-water fish struck. He fought the potential record for 25-mintues before he was able to bring the fish to the gaff. If approved this fish would beat the current record by more than 3-pounds. This record is currently pending and under review.
