After pregnancy, I gained weight and belly fat. Being a mom with a shift duty job made it even harder. Some days I was too tired to show up, and I skipped workouts. But I kept going.

On my first day back in the gym, I realised how much fitness I had lost — the stiffness, the pain, and how different I felt compared to before. Coach’s workouts were tough but reminded me of what I was capable of.

After just one month, my joint pain started to ease, I felt stronger, more mobile, and confident again. I realised that no matter how demanding life gets, making time for yourself is never selfish — it’s necessary.

Joining the gym for the first time was a game-changer. I used to be active with night fishing, snorkeling, and diving, but I felt I was gaining weight and losing strength. Training under Shan with a supportive group felt like family—we pushed each other, had fun, and grew stronger together. I lost 6kg without any fad diets, just mindful eating and consistent training. Heavy squats, deadlifts, and shared laughter made every session memorable. Shan made me believe it was possible—and it truly was.
