Three years ago I decided to obtain my qualifications as a fitness trainer.
The journey taught me many things as I encountered several challenges & obstacles.
I’ve always wanted to voice my experiences and knowledge which I’ve acquired from a young age. Which pointed me to start my own podcast.
In April 2022, I recorded three episodes and couldn’t handle the challenges I was facing so I put this to bed and went off track.
July -September 2022 I went through depression as I broke down mentally.
Fast forward to October 2022 I decided to get back on track and become mentally and physical stronger…. I released my first ever podcast.
The last few months I’ve been lucky enough to connect with many amazing individuals who will be part of “The Pooj Show”.
Nevertheless, I’ve flown out to Dubai to shoot podcast episodes and content with kind hearted people.
Like they say; it doesn’t rain forever.
Our luck always changes you just need to be positive enough to believe it 🤞🏽🧿🪬

Today was a milestone day for me as I hit over 13K followers on Instagram and reached my desired body weight (70KG), never did I think I would turn to build a career in social media. I've always been an individual who disliked taking pictures or being part of group pictures. Nor did I make an effort with my appearance, I had people around me who put me down for their own benefit since I did not know my worth. 🤞🏽
However, one thing I've comprehended over the past 5 five; to grow as an individual we need to step out of our comfort zone and believe in ourselves. I pushed myself in every aspect. 💎
I've learnt immensely about social media in the last 18 months and acquired a great amount of confidence an experience I could not find anywhere else. 💯
So …. get out of your comfort zone and start your fitness journey with me.

Why do certain individuals not succeed with their fitness goals:
Several INDIVIDUALS underestimate the power of EXERCISING and healthy eating (within MODERATION) they PERCEIVE fitness as a CHORE, well yes everything we do in life requires effort OTHERWISE we DON'T obtain results.
I believe how you do one thing is how you do everything, so if you start from the foundation of success which is our health you will carry this mindset in everything you do in life.
Research has showed me that there is a gap in knowledge as many problem don’t know:
* How to meal prep
* Consume enough calories/ Macros to reach their goal
* Undertake a workout with the correct posture and technique.
Fitness can be perceived as mundane since people want to lose weight or gain muscle over a short period of time, not realizing it takes time and consistency to reach your goal.
What comes easy won't last. What lasts won't come easy.

Why do humans compete with one another?
People tend to be more emotionally invested when comparing themselves to friends, family or strangers, individuals tend to be more competitive in smaller groups as they have an audience.
So can we say it's natural for the human race to compete? As it can be seen as a tactic to survive.
I believe we should only compete with ourselves to become a better person on a daily basis, each individual possesses distinctive qualities and skills. It's infrequent that two individuals share the same attributes so why do we compare?
It's like comparing the sun and moon, they both shine at different times. 🌝🌚🌹

What is a positive mindset?
Four characteristics that contribute to a positive mindset:
1. Optimism
2. Acceptance
3. Resilience
4. Gratitude
Possessing a positive mindset does not define an individual to ignore the negativity around them or oversee red flags, the ability to perceive the good in every situation and expect good things will happen. This leads to obtaining positive energy, better health and a better success chance.
Positive energy evokes
* More energy
* More happiness
* More initiative
I agree it's difficult to have a positive mindset in all situations, BUT it's better than being negative. We only hurt ourselves by being so negative as we keep these feelings and thoughts to ourselves which destroys us and prevents us from reaching our goals. SO WHAT IS THE POINT?
Learn to accept & forgive then you will find inner peace.
Arduous YET achievable. 🔥🚀
