Maldives Olympic Committee

Aishath Shabaa Saleem from the Athletics Association of Maldives departed for Greece to participate in the 66th International Session for Young Olympic Ambassadors organized by the International Olympic Academy (IOA) in June 2026. The session brings together young representatives from National Olympic Committees around the world to promote Olympic values and strengthen international understanding through the Olympic Movement.

As the 27th National Olympic Academy Session for Young Olympic Ambassadors gets underway in Kuala Lumpur, Maldives is represented by Ibrahim Rizan, who departed yesterday for the programme. Nominated by the Cricket Board of Maldives, Rizan joins participants from across the region in a week dedicated to learning, exchange, and Olympic values.
