The Chiefs produced an excellent bowling performance to dismiss Red Thunders for 64, before reaching their target at 65/1 in 10.5 overs.

Congratulations also to Red Thunders on reaching the final, and to all the players, officials, teams and supporters who contributed to another competitive season of domestic cricket in Blantyre.

A tough day at Estim Oval as Nigeria took the victory in today’s encounter.
🇳🇬 Nigeria U19 — 152/7 (20 overs)
🇲🇼 Malawi U19 — 58 (18.3 overs)
Nigeria win by 94 runs.

There were performances to build on for Malawi, with Princess Chidatha taking 2/26, while Sphiwe Frank top-scored with 24 from 26 balls, including four boundaries.

Not the result we wanted, but another opportunity for our young side to gain experience competing at international level.

Tomorrow is a rest day, giving the team time to recover, regroup and prepare for the next challenge. 🇲🇼💪
