Take note that our League game against Kamuzu Barracks which was scheduled to take place on Wednesday (28th September 2022)at the Champion Stadium in Mponela has been postponed to a later date.
What does this mean?It means we are travelling to Lilongwe this weekend to face Nyasa Big Bullets on Saturday in the FDH Bank Cup at BNS. We have only one assignment in the central region which is FDH Bank Cup .

The mistery remains how Miracle Gabeya crossed the road to the cross-town rivals, dumping Nyasa Big Bullets Football Club for Mighty Mukuru Wanderers.

Miracle Gabeya failed to stay put at the Club that groomed him, Nyasa Big Bullets over misunderstandings on the terms of his contract.

It was reported that Nyasa Big Bullets were offering the towering Centre Half a K2-million signing fee that the 27-year-old defender refused to agree with.

Miracle had three times tried to move out from Nyasa Big Bullets having failed to clinch a deal with two South African Clubs, Kaizer Cheifs and Highland Parks in 2017 and also failed to move to Civo Service United in 2016.

The then-Civo Service General Secretary, Charles Mwenda revealed that Civo had plans to acquire the signature of the defender.

Having their contract talks with Bullets stalled, the centre half opted to join his teammate, Chiukepo Msowoya who had earlier joined the Lali Luban Road based team.

But how can a team acquire the signature of the defender of his Calibre for free?

The truth remains that Gabeya's playing time had been reduced at the People's team as Coach Kalisto Pasuwa was mostly opting for the pair of the academy graduate, Nixon Nyasulu and the current Sankhani Mkandawire who was eventually released due to his age.

Nyasa Big Bullets signed Hadji Wali for free after he dumped Silver Strikers, promoted Kesten Simbi from Reserve side, bringing the number of centre backs to 5 including John Lanjesi, a situation which could have shelved his game time.

Kalisto Pasuwa, being a coach who likes building the attack from the back, he was in need of centre backs who are very good on the ball, players who can outthink and outmuscle the opponents, hence minimising Miracle's game time.
