Did you know that we primarily measure national development by how infrastructure in that nation looks like? Did you know that we have more abandoned, delayed and substandard infrastructure in Malawi?
This is because people do not have access to clear information on such projects.

IPPI has just addressed this problem by embedding an algorithm that breaks down the technical project data uploaded by different entities into simple language we can all understand by highlighting red flags in the information like abandoned works, unrealistic timelines and budgets, use of substandard materials and fourteen other red flags.

CoST Malawi successfully conducted an induction training for our newly appointed Multi-Stakeholder Group (MSG) members and staff! 🎉

The session focused on:
✅ Building a shared understanding of CoST's core principles
✅ Enhancing capacity in infrastructure transparency, accountability, and stakeholder engagement
✅ Aligning roles and responsibilities for effective delivery of CoST’s mission in Malawi

This marks a crucial step in reinforcing our collective commitment to promoting open contracting, inclusive dialogue, and improved infrastructure outcomes for all Malawians.
