JOINT PUBLIC NOTICE: NCHE & TEVETA

The National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) and the Technical, Entrepreneurial and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TEVETA) are cautioning the public against enrolling in programmes or obtaining qualifications from unregistered institutions and unrecognised awarding bodies.

Qualifications from Business Management Education Centre (BMEC) (UK) and American Institute of Extended Studies – AEIS (US) are not recognised in Malawi and cannot be used for academic, professional or official purposes.

Prospective students, parents and guardians are urged to always verify the registration and accreditation status of institutions and programmes with NCHE and TEVETA before enrolling.

Unregistered institutions and unapproved programmes will face enforcement action in line with Malawi’s education laws and regulations.

2025/2026 PUBLIC UNIVERSITIES SELECTION

📢 APPLICATION PERIOD EXTENDED!

Please be advised that the application period for the 2025/2026 Public Universities Selection has been extended. Applications were initially scheduled to close today Saturday, 31 January 2026, but the deadline has now been extended to Saturday, 7 February 2026.

This extension allows candidates who may not have completed their application or payment to do so within the new timeframe.

There is still a chance to apply for the 2025/2026 Public Universities Selection!

Those who have applied but haven't paid yet, please make sure to do so between today and tomorrow.

You can pay through TNM Mpamba, National Bank, Centenary Bank, FDH Bank, NBS Bank and First Capital Bank.

Dziwani za registration, accreditation ndi zina zambiri zokhudza ntchito zomwe bungwe la NCHE limagwira potukula maphunziro apamwamba mdziko muno.

Kaya ndinu ophunzira yemwe mukukonzekera zofuna kuyamba maphunziro a pamwamba ku univesite kapena koleji, kaya ndinu makolo omwe mukuyembekezera zotumiza mwana ku univesite, kaya ndinu eni kampani omwe m'malemba anthu ntchito, onerani ndi kumvera pulogalamuyi, poti ndi momwe tidzimva zambiri zokhudza kufunika kwa maphunziro apamwamba omwe ndi ovomerezeka ndi ife a NCHE, ndi zina zambiri.
